Key week for East’s soccer title hopes

The East E-Rabs’ NIC-10 soccer title hopes are on the line tonight against the Boylan Titans.

East heads into the final week of conference play at 6-1, tied with Belvidere North for second, and a game behind the undefeated Titans.

Boylan is 12-4-3 overall, while East is 14-3-3.

The game will be at Boylan beginning at 6:30 p.m.

If the E-Rabs can conquer the Titans, they would play Belvidere North Thursday for the school’s first NIC-10 soccer title since 1986. Since soccer became a varsity sport in 1982, Guilford has won 12 NIC-10 titles and East one.
