Guilford softball, volleyball star showing off artistic talent in Texas

Jossilyn Jones Mladenoff, a 2009 Guilford graduate, is a graphic designer for Alphagraphics of Rockwell in Forney, Texas.

Jones was one of the Rockford Public Schools top female athletes of the 2000s. In softball, she was a three-time first team All-NIC-10 catcher. In volleyball, she was a special mention All-NIC-10 pick in 2008 and first team in 2009 as a libero, a defensive specialist.

After Guilford, Jossilyn earned an associates degree at Robert Morris College where she played softball and volleyball. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Rockford University where she continued to play softball and volleyball. In softball, she hit .364 in 76 games over two seasons. In volleyball, she had 382 digs in 30 games her senior year. She also was a member of the RU Art Club. 

Jossilyn worked locally until 2014 until moving to Texas to be a project coordinator for Gigantic Color. After a short stint in the automotive industry, Jossilyn joined Alphagrahpics in November 2018.
