ROCKFORD – Auburn senior Nia Neal and freshman Brooklyn Gray were named to all-tournament team in the exceedingly tough Bradley-Bourbonnais Holiday Tournament.

Neal averaged 10.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in the round-robin tournament, while Gray poured in 11.3 points, grabbed 7.3 rebounds and averaged 4.5 assists.

The Knights are third in the NIC-10 with a 6-1 record but the Bradley-Bourbonnais tournament gave them a chance to improve against some of the better Chicago suburban teams.

The Knights went 0-4 in the tournament, but that included two one-point losses, a six-point loss and a seven-point loss. The combined records of the four teams (Minooka, Bradley-Bourbonnais, Joliet Central and Bishop McNamara) that knocked off the Knights was 40-21.

The Knights now are 9-9 overall and play Woodstock Thursday at Auburn.
