Jack Bonavia, a Rockford Marshall eighth grader, finished ninth out of 232 runners in the Illinois Elementary Sports Association Class 2A cross country finals. Auburn’s Elle Maculan took second place at Saturday’s Harlem Cross Country Classic at Rock Cut State Park.
